Magnolia’s Bat Mitzvah
Holly, Phillip & Kirby Burger invite you to celebrate Magnolia Lynn Burger becoming a Bat Mitzvah at Temple Adat Shalom.
More Information
What is a Bat Mitzvah?
Bat mitzvah is Hebrew for “daughter of commandment.” When a Jewish girl turns 12, she has all the rights and obligations of a Jewish adult, including the commandments of the Torah. From that date, she takes her place in the Jewish community. This milestone—called a bat mitzvah—is often celebrated with creative projects, meaningful gatherings and joyous parties. Gifts for Magnolia
Similar to a wedding, cash is often a welcomed gift whether you can accept or need to decline your Bar or Bat Mitzvah invitation. Guests often gift money in increments of $18, a symbol of “chai,” in Jewish tradition, which means “life.” It is also completely acceptable to round to normal amounts of $20 or $50. Please email Holly for Magnolia’s mailing address if you’d like to send a check.
A Note from Magnolia
Hi everyone! Thank you so much for being able to make it to my Bat Mitzvah, in person or Zoom. On top of that, big thanks to the people who are going to come to Ramona. This is going to be so fun being able to see family and friends. See you there, or on Zoom.
